Baked!
Well the weekend is over.....It's okay it will come again soon! So like I mentioned in my last post I dressed up for a dance party so here's the pic!
I was from Star trek and my mom's friend was Star wars!
Anyways let me get to some of yesterdays eats!
Started breakfast off with a yummy shake!
This shake had:
-Frozen Mango, Banana, and Peach (Delish!!)
-1 scoop Sun Warrior vanilla protein!
-Chia Seeds
-Cocoa Nibs
-Cup of Almond Milk
Headed to work. (Yes I work sundays :(!) I don't mind it though because the days are shorter which is A-OK with me!
Lunch:
I LOVE these babies!! They only have the vegan ones at one whole foods in my whole area!! Drives me nuts!
Later I needed a little pick me up...
This was a extreme vanilla ice blended no sugar added! (extreme means they blend it with coffee instead of milk!)
For Dinner I baked a Amy's Gluten Free Mac and Cheese and straight from the oven it was the most amazing thing ever!!! I devoured it without even taking a pic!! OOPS! A couple hours later I made a little snacky for me and the madre! Decided to bake some garbanzo beans! I put a little olive oil, garlic salt, and chili powder. All I can say is that is one of the tastiest snacks ever!
Well my weekend was pretty amazing! I got to hang out with my bestie on saturday night and I can't even tell you how much I missed her!!! Do any of you have a best friend who just completes you??? I know I do and I feel so lucky to have her!!

David Beckham is a sexy beast!!
It's Saturday and I'm blogging from work!! I want to start by saying I went to coffee bean this morning and who was in line in front of me....David Beckham!!! he is beautiful!!! That had to be my best celebrity sighting yet! He even bumped into me as he walked by and looked at me and said sorry...it was the highlight of today!!
So yesterday I woke up late and didn't have time for breakfast :(. I knew I was going to an early lunch so I went to star bucks because I was craving a frapp! I got a caramel light frap and it was delish!
Lunch was sushi with my mom at Yu n Mi and it was fantasmic!! I would have taken pics but the people would have gotten mad at me so I didn't! Dinner was a salad from Stanleys and I'm sorry there are no pictures in this post because I am blogging from my iPad and it won't let me upload the pics!

Vampire Anatomy?
Hello Bloggie friends! It's almost friday!! Who's excited for the weekend?? I know I am!
Okay so today started out with some cereal..
I'm not usually a big cereal fan but today I was craving it. Mixed with the Kashi I added a small banana, some chia seeds, and unsweetened vanilla almond milk. It was delicious but I had to take a picture before I put in the milk because I HATE soggy cereal. I almost eat cereal like I am in a race because I hate when it gets soggy!!
Anyways..after breakfast I headed to work. Was pretty busy in the store which is ALWAYS a good thing..makes the day go by faster =).
I sipped on this...
At this for lunchy..(when I work frozen food is the easiest way to go!)
SOOO GOOD!
Then towards the end of the day I needed a snack..
After work I went to whole foods on my way home..(I know..I was just there YESTERDAY!) Had a couple things I really had to get. By the time I go home I made dinner so fast I didn't have time to take a pic..(I'm sorry but I was starving!)
Dinner was my open faced feista sandwich! It had:
A piece of millet bread toasted to perfection, topped with spicy guacamole and organic mixed greens. Then I topped it off with a southwest garden veggie burger. It was fantasmic. So easy to make and oh so tasty!
I am about to feast on some of my vegan oatmeal raison cookies. I can't buy them anymore because they are so delicious I want to eat them all!!
Well I'm out for today, my friend is coming over and I am going to force him to watch Vampire Diaries and Greys Anatomy! (haha I know I'm mean!!)
Any special plans for the weekend???

Here we go..
So this is my first real blog post..as in not me introducing myself!
Well today started off with my puppy :
She decided to wake me up bright and early with nonstop barking. Is it wrong that instead of me training her..she has trained me?? How could anyone say no to that cute little face! So I had to take her on a walky!
Watched my Tivo'd episode of the biggest loser..cried like a baby. (I cry during every episode of the biggest loser. Was sad to see Sunshine go but happy that Koli is in the final four!
Got my eyebrows done then took a trip to my favorite store..
I got some salad, vegan choco cookies, cederlane tamales (YUM), veggies, and of coarse kombucha synergy! I love that stuff!!
Took a trip to my lovely gym:
Did a little running and stretching..nothing to crazy. (i was tired :()
Just had some dinner and now getting ready to go to my dance studio for a party!

Hello blog world! I have arrived!
Welcome to the dancing diva! This is my first blog and I hope you may enjoy reading what I have to say. I will give you a little introduction about me so you can know me a little better! First of all I'm 20 years old (almost 21!!) and I reside in the los angeles area. I have always been a dancer but I didn't start ballroom until I was eighteen. Let me tell you....it CHANGED MY LIFE!
First of all I spent my childhood growing up as the tubby girl..no not tubby..just plain old FAT. From the ages nine through seventeen, I probably gained and lost over 100lbs. I was always yo yo dieting. I have tried every diet you could imagine. I gained weight on weight watchers because there were too many treats, I lost on Jenny Craig but gained back that weight and more once I stopped eating their food. And when I wasn't on those programs I did low carb or low fat and I would eat so little that I lost weight fast but would gain it back the instant I ate like a normal person. Anytime I would reduce calorie intake too much it would be a given I would start bingeing almost instantly.
Everything changed when I started dancing..just dancing alone I started to lose weight from the extra exercise I was getting. (growing up I was very lazy and HATED to exercise.) Being around all the hot dance professionals I realized it was time for me to start dieting again and try to get in the best shape I could. It was different this time though because I knew I had to do it the right way and it all started with Hungry girl. I started getting their emails and I started working on my cooking and tracking my calories and the weight came off right away. I tweaked her recipes and made a few of my own and all the sudden it was easier then ever.
It's two years later now and I have taken off 35lbs and kept it off since then. I finally found out food wasn't my enemy and to listen to my body. I eat very clean foods and try to cook as many of my own meals I can so I know what I'm eating. I cook for my family now and have even helped my mom shed the extra pounds she had been carrying around. Along with that I joined a gym and now I try to go four to five times a week and I really enjoy it.
I now dance competitively pro/am. I am staying an amateur for as long as I can but I fully intend on going professional in the next few years because there is nothing I would enjoy more then teaching others the joy of dancing. I currently work as a retail associate in the best chidrens boutique in beverly hills. And on my free time (which there isn't much of) I love hanging out with my friends, going out, and doing all the things twenty year olds do is LA!
I am not here to guide anyone in life or or give expertise on weight loss or fitness or anything. (cause im no expert) I am just hoping that my knowledge and success with weight loss and cooking might inspire you in anyway. Feel free to as me any questions anytime.
